Reggae, Funk, Latin, Hip-hop & Rock mixed and spiced in the melting pot of this multi-national musical collaboration. With a Mexican singer/percussionist, a Surinamese rapper, drummer and vocalista, homegrown bass, sax and other half of the female voices plus a Belgian guitarplayer and an UK pianoman, this group of old hands and new kids on the block combines Caribbean rythms and American Grooves with European Popmusic.
The rhythm section started playing together 25 years ago in the Dutch ‘one hit wonder’ What Fun! and experienced a short burst of fame when the single ‘The Right Side Won’ shot to the top of the charts. Still not tired of the music scene they combined forces with Milber Feirrera, who learned to sing and play percussion in the bands of his uncle in Southern Mexico. They found Alan, a survivor of the Manchester scene willing to do some unsuspected keyboards and more or less stumbled over both of the girls who’s voices blended in such a natural way that they seemed to be predestined to sing together. Funk-veteran Mick on tenor became the loudest member of the crew and last, for now, the unpredictable lyrical rap captain Mr. Jahson joined the show…
